Erica Hashimoto – I Know
Every millenia or so MISIA (whom I loooove) blesses us with an upbeat song, and in between those rare releases we now have a new singer who sounds a lot like her: Erica Hashimoto.
I’ve pretty much loved this song with the first listen. It has a great beat, one that reminds me of a marching track with a rockin’ bass and a light piano.
One of the things about Erica that really stood out was her voice. Most singers now sound high and squeaky, weak and airy, or shrill. Erica has a richness to her voice that is rather pleasing to the ears. I once commented that if Erica and MISIA did a duet, it would sound like a pair of sisters recorded the track.
Another thing that helps her stand out is that while she does show some skin, it’s not in a… nasty sort of way. Gotta give her props for that.
I have no idea as to what the video means, but meh, it’s a good song (and two of her outfits are super cool.)

Not only is Erica a beautiful girl but she also does have a great voice.
